movie night

I recently watched this documentary - Jiro Dreams of Sushi. I was expecting a simple movie about the process and beauty of making sushi--turns out, there was little more to it.  For me, the main point that I got from the film was to be passionate about what you choose to do in life, no matter what that is. While some of his passion borders on obsession, he still makes some great points.

“Once you decide on your occupation… you must immerse yourself in your work. You have to fall in love with your work. Never complain about your job. You must dedicate your life to mastering your skill. That’s the secret of success and is the key to being regarded honorably.” Jiro

If you have some time this weekend, check it out. It's available on Netflix!
