Colby has been out on a river trip for work since Saturday, and won't be coming home until Thursday. We used to spend weeks apart at a time, and, even though it was hard, we seemed to manage just fine. Now that we're married, living together, and in the same state, we get to see each other all the time--and that's great. But, it's making these few days apart all the more difficult.
Friday
night, Colby decided to take me out on a little date before he left. We
went to Pallet, which has been around for awhile now. But, for some
reason, we haven't gotten around to going until now. It was a tasty
meal--very creative dishes. And the cocktails were really creative and
interesting too. It was such a lovely night.
Now, just two more days...
